About Us
God has begun a good work in us. Our church was like most churches: we were apathetic, our priorities were muddled, we were always busy for the Lord without taking time to find out if we were doing His will. We "did church" very well, but we were not being the Church, the Body and Bride of Christ. After a long struggle, our faithful Lord has started to shake us free of that dangerous web of confusing "being religious" with "being Christ's disciples."
Now our purpose is clear: we don't want to be a church, we want to follow the Holy Spirit in a movement He has begun out of our history and our heritage in order to secure our future.
Formerly known as Christ the Servant Church of the Brethren, we still identify with and belong to the Church of the Brethren. We are beginning to learn to grow, to change, to feed on the Word, to bask in the light of the Lord, to worship the Lord our God and serve Him only, to care about and for our neighbors, our friends, even our enemies. We want to seek the face of Jesus, to become like Him in every aspect of our lives. We are a movement of Christian men, women, and children who have begun a great pursuit, spurred on by love and good works. God, who is faithful, will complete what He has started.
